Design Concept
A rooftop PV solution with enough battery storage to last the facility 4 hours of load-shedding. The client will be saving not only on the tariff, but by a diesel saving also. Furthermore there is a saving in the mitigation against loss of production in the factory. The primary saving on the tariff comes from peak-shaving on demand charges, as well as self-consumption to utilise 100% of the solar PV.
